PEF Helps Needy Students in Israel

PEF - Israel Endowment Funds Inc. established a new scholarship fund in Israel (Jerusalem 563-1193) for Israeli students. There is a special committee (Chair: Dr. Eliezer Jaffe) to accomplish the mission of this organization which was established here in 1922.

PEF has supported around 800 non-profit organizations. PEF is the bridge between American donors and Israel. PEF is an expert on charity. PEF wants to be sure that a donation is indeed effective.

"Further concern has to do with the fidelity of the transmitting agent. Will the funds be diminished by the devouring costs of administration? Will the distant recipient of the benefaction make judicious use of the transmitting funds?" remarked Ernest S. Frerichs, a leader of PEF.
