Trump Executive and Former “Apprentice” Star Celebrates Chanukah with President Bush at the White House
New York, January 10 – An executive representing Donald Trump’s mortgage company who also happens to be last season’s runner-up on “The Apprentice” visited Washington D.C. earlier this week to participate in a Chanukah celebration at The White House with President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush (official White House photo is attached).
On Monday, Trump Mortgage exec, Lee Bienstock, joined the President and First Lady as well as many other political and civic leaders to light the “National Menorah” and take part in a celebration of the joyous “Festival of Lights” (photos available upon request). Bienstock, 23, is an observant Jew who ate kosher food on the set and famously declined tasks for Trump’s hit NBC show due to his strict observance of the High Holidays. Despite those issues, he became a finalist during the show’s fifth season.
Mr. Bienstock was hired earlier this year as Associate Vice President of Corporate Development for Trump Mortgage, the national mortgage firm founded by Mr. Trump and led by CEO and President EJ Ridings. Part of Mr. Bienstock’s position is to foster community outreach and spearhead the firm’s corporate mortgage program, where a mortgage purchase can be included as part of a company’s benefits package.
“It was without question, one of the most thrilling experiences of my life,” commented Bienstock. “To celebrate Chanukah with President Bush and the First Lady at the White House is the perfect ending to what has been an incredible year for me personally and I was very proud to represent an organization owned by Mr. Trump at such an amazing gathering.”
