MUSLIM STUDENT ASSOCIATIONS IN OUR SCHOOLS

It sounds very logical to think a significant cause of the War on Terrorism is the lack of education. However if that is what you think, you may be sadly disappointed after you read this article.
The world is facing many challenges combating the War on Terrorism. One of the challenges is in educational systems. You ask, “How can that be? Isn’t education part of the solution?” In this article we will address Muslim students in institutions of higher education.
According to”Front Page Magazine” of May 8, 2008 “documents seized by the FBI and entered as evidence in a Texas court, indicate that the Muslim Students Association (MSA) is a legacy product of the Muslim Brotherhood”. The Brotherood is a notorious, fanatic, Islamic organization. The Brotherhood, formed in 1928, was designed to function as an Islamo-fascist movement and crusade against the West.
The March 18, 2003 “World Net Daily’s” article claimed that MSA boasts over one thousand chapters in colleges across America and Canada. Their reporter was able to pass as an Arab and attend a Muslim Student Only meeting at Queensborough Community College in New York.
Speakers at this meeting were two American based leaders of Al-Muhajiroun, a well-known Islamic fundamentalist organization that supports the ideology of Osama bin Laden. One of the two speakers, Abu Yousuf, stated, “President Bush is starting a Christian crusade to rid the world of Islam and that after Iraq, America will likely attack the rest of the Arab countries.” Might this be inflammatory?
In April 2008 “Front Page Magazine” reported on the Muslim Students Union at University of California - Irvine. This report claimed that members of this group commonly wear green armbands, on campus to signal their allegiance to Hamas an international terrorist group.
At Ohio State University the MSA’s newspaper includes articles from groups classified by the U.S. State Department as terrorist organizations, groups such as the Algerian Armed Islamic Group and Islamic Salvation Front. This MSA has also sold propaganda videos such as “Martyrs of Bosnia” for use only at Muslim gatherings
McGill University in Canada has been confronted by its MSA group demanding a dedicated room on campus to hold their daily prayers. If McGill does not meet MSA’s demand, the Council on American- Islamic Relations (CAIR) threatened to file a complaint with the Quebec Human Rights Commission and publicize the complaint in Canada and internationally.
When a lecturer is not in agreement with the MSA belief it is normal for Muslim students to attempt to disrupt the event. In September 2002 Palestinian rioters prevented former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from speaking at Montreal's Concordia University. It seems that MSA has a double standard. Freedom of speech is OK, if it is what they believe otherwise it is not permissible. Other lecturers such as Daniel Pipes, a Middle East authority, have reported Muslim attempts to disrupt. There have also been reports of Muslim violence.
Not disappointed yet? Well the Center for Social Cohesion’s 2008 survey taken at 12 universities in the United Kingdom reports that 32% of the Muslim students believe killing in the name of religion is justified. And people say that only a small percent of Muslims are fanatics. . If one-third of all Muslims, estimated as high as 1.5 billion, feel the same then one-half billion Muslims is not so small a number.
Maybe it’s time to get involved and defend your freedom. Remember. “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good people do nothing.” There are things you can do
